One year after the official launch of the Union for the Mediterranean and the successful Med Business Days in Marseille, the private sector will meet in Athens on July 8th, 9th and 10th 2009 to reaffirm its strong commitment to foster economic ties which will lead to development, growth and job creation in the Euro-Mediterranean region.

SEV, Hellenic Federation of Enterprises, the main business organisation in Greece, organises “Bridging the Mediterranean: the Athens Business Forum” with the support of Invest in Med, an EU co-funded programme, and the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and in cooperation with BusinessMed and BusinessEurope.

The Athens Business Forum will gather more than 800 businessmen and managers, Business Organizations’ executives and officials from all Mediterranean countries who will have the unique opportunity to debate, conduct individual meetings (B2B), take stock on existing ventures, or meet potential partners and identify future possibilities for cooperation.

Call for projects
Companies looking for partnerships and wishing to promote their projects in the Mediterranean region will have the opportunity to make a presentation during a special session on July, 9th afternoon. They are invited to send their presentation at ir@sev.org.gr.
